The Student Interaction Hub serves as an extra socializing and learning area within the campus. Its design is intended to accommodate both occasional and informal gatherings. The first level offers livelier and more open activities, while the second level comprises intimate corners and expansive spaces that unify the two levels.
The location of the place is advantageous for both campus residents and commuters. It provides swift access to coffee and snacks from buildings located on the northern side of the campus. Additionally, it serves as a waiting area for local commuters who are waiting for transportation such as buses. The project aims to replace the antiquated restroom facilities situated adjacent to the parking lot at Robin Hood Park in the City of Keene. These facilities cater to a considerable portion of the park, including an outdoor picnic area and a children's playground in close proximity to the parking lot. The proposed plan involves constructing a new building that integrates all amenities on-site, along with incorporating additional features such as a visitor/education center, a meeting area, and an ADA-compliant incline element to facilitate ease of access to the buildings.
